Breaking down barriers to build a stronger you!

Its very important that you ensure that you always are on time for any class, seminar or grading being conducted. This is to ensure that you have plenty of time to sign in and start your self warm up before the scheduled start time.

At KTS we expect that all students come to class or a grading dressed to the best they can be.

-At gradings you must always be in a full Gi which is clean and ironed with badge attached. 

-At class you must always be at class with a full clean and ironed Gi with your badge attached. However during the warmer months (April-September) you are allowed to wear the KTS training T-shirt instead of your Gi top. 

-If you do not have a KTS top you must be in a full Gi!

-Girls only are permitted to wear a plain white round neck top under the Gi top. This is for modesty.

- Belts are NOT to be worn outside of the Dojo. For example, to and from lessons.

No matter where you are we expect you at your best. 

At class or out enjoying life we expect all our students to be polite and respectful to everyone they encounter. 

We operate a firm but fair Zero tolerance policy towards bullying. 

If it is brought to our attention that you have played any part in an act of bully either inside or outside the dojo you will be placed on a final warning with KTS. If another incident then occurs you will be asked to leave KTS affective immediately. You will not then be allowed to return to train with us.

We would always ask that you are open and honest with us. 

If its feedback on the lessons, a request to practise more or something that's bothering you we would always ask that you let us know at the earliest opportunity.  

The Instructors will also be open to students about where they can improve and what steps are needed to take you to the next level of your karate journey.
